Ajman welcomes 800 new industrial establishments during first half of 2024

According to data released by the ACCI, the number of memberships in the organization reached 19,372 in the first six months of 2024. Also, 22,693 certificates of origin were registered. Hamad Al Nuaimi, the director of the organization’s Member Affairs Department, said that the continuous efforts and attention paid to the economic sector of Ajman are augur well for the future.

According to Al Nuaimi, the increasing number of businesses and the establishment of a more competitive environment are some of the key factors that have been identified as the main goals of Ajman Vision 2030. He noted that the ACCI is dedicated to fulfilling the objectives and directions of the Emirate of Ajman. These include developing a conducive business environment, facilitating trade, and launching start-ups.

During a ceremony held in December, Sheikh Hamad revealed that Saudi Arabia and Iraq were among the countries that exported products to Ajman. Other countries that made a significant contribution to the export of goods and services from the Emirate included Ethiopia, Kuwait, and Turkey. According to Jamila Al Kajoor, the director of member relations and support of the ACCI, membership in the organization increased by 4 percent during the first six months this year.

The increase in membership of the organization demonstrates the growing importance of the industrial sector in the Emirate and highlights the country’s position as an ideal location for industrial investments. She noted that the organisation is dedicated to supporting the development of the country’s advanced technology and industrial sectors.

It is additionally committed to maintaining its pace in addressing the various challenges that face the industry, such as increasing the competitiveness of the country’s national industries and developing new artificial intelligence-based solutions.
